The Dirty Collective is thrilled to present an innovative show centred around the theme of 'social boundaries' and showcasing the 'dirtiest' installation, video and performance art from professional and younger emerging artists, pooled from a local, national as well as international community.
The first issue, You've Got Some Explaining To Do presents a journey through a history of ideas in which a vast population of the walking dead are entwined with new technologies to transform Leeds prominent social activist centre, The Common Place, into an exploration of the human psyche; they remain focussed on the critical reflection of notions of political activism, marginality, the abject, psychoanalysis and late 1990s curatorial analysis within marginal places.
